About Tribe Effect

Tribe Effect LLC utilizes applied social media and social action networks to build advocacy and cultural movements that are designed to take action and deliver results.

Tribe Effect currently directs social media and manages the social action network for the Pickens Plan campaign for energy independence started by visionary T. Boone Pickens, including development and management of a 50 state network of volunteer activists organized using social networking technology, video messaging and other forms of online communication to activate nearly 1.5 million supporters.

The Tribe Effect team has worked on dozens of political, public affairs, public relations, specialty marketing and grassroots campaigns on behalf of Fortune 50 companies, trade associations, non-profit organizations and national and state level candidates and committees.  We have worked in states and regions coast to coast and led national movements and campaigns.

Social media has taken organization to a new level with the breakdown of traditional geographic, communication, connectivity and time barriers.  A network, email list or membership of thousands is ineffective without action.
